That being said, though I don't feel either rebellious or like running anywhere, we're set for a pair of Runnin' Rebel feature and a 40-lap Late Model main event at Oxford Plains Speedway.

But before we do that, we've got a little housekeeping here.

Travis Adams reports that wife, Becky, is doing well after delivering the couple's 2nd child this week. The bouncing baby boy -- clocking in at a hefty 9 pounds, 13 ounces -- first started checking tire pressures on the No. 03 shortly after arriving at 9:38 a.m. Brayden Wesley Adams was named for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

But that's his problem...

Oxford Plains is giving away 2 tickets to the Indianapolis 500 tonight.

They keep telling me it's not going to rain, that it's going to hold off to get the whole program in. I'll believe it when I see it -- right now it's 70 degrees and sunny as the first heat of Mini Stocks is on the track.

That means it will rain. In an hour.

Oh, and my internet isn't working. Some internet reporter I am. I guess when The Godfather finally springs for that new air card for GWC, we'll be in better shape.
