So, this is what I came back out of the North Woods for?
Rain, rain and more rain here at Wiscasset Raceway – which really shouldn’t surprise me all that much, considering that’s exactly what I got in the North Woods. That, and a boatload of fish. But, heck, I don’t want to brag.
But, truth be told – ol’ buddy GWC is back and running. Vacation’s over, the computer is free and clean of the virus that shut it down for a week or so and the newspaper I call my day job is still up and running for the time being.
What could be better?
* IF ANYONE IS wondering, the True Value Modified Series is here at Wiscasset tonight – not that anyone cares beyond the 18 or 19 sets of grandparents reading this in, oh, I don’t know, Ocala, Fla.
No Super Late Model race, either. That means the last tuneup here for the Toyota Tundra 250 next weekend was last month. That’s a long time ago.
Heck, back then, Jeff Merrill was swinging at track officials and we were still reading about smog in China.
* UNITY RACEWAY rained out on Friday night, which means Penny and Dan’s honeymoon will have to wait another week.
* AND BECAUSE IT rained all week while I was away, it's raining again now.
Wiscasset Raceway is currently in a rain delay.

I wondered where you were..missed reading your stuff. Marci, Auburn
