Jay Cushman, Travis Kittleson team up for White Mountain PASS race
The Jay Cushman-Travis Kittleson partnership will continue on at White Mountain Motorsports Park.
Kittleson, a Florida native running selected NASCAR Nationwide Series races this year, will drive Cushman’s No. 29 Ford in a 150-lap PASS North Series event at White Mountain next Saturday night. The two last ran together in the Peterbilt 250 at Speedway 660, in Geary, New Brunswick over Labor Day weekend.
The team finished 11th after winning a heat race there.
"We had such a great time in Canada," Cushman said. "We had a dominant race car, and after the race we talked about doing some more races together. We ran well and didn’t get the finish that we felt that we earned. We really wanted to finish the job that we started."
Kittleson has PASS South experience – but none at the White Mountain quarter-mile.
"I said right away, ‘Come on, let’s do it.’ It’s always a challenge for me to go to a new track like this," Kittleson said.
"Jay Cushman and I are both fierce competitors who want to win at all costs, and we worked well together. So it just made sense to go to another race."

I am very pleased to read that the Cushman 29 is still around. I miss that car ....and the 29 of Dave Dion too....
