ON SITE: Andy Santerre, Mike Olsen discussing closing their doors

Andy Santerre and Mike Olsen each gave it no better than a 50-50 shot that they would be back as car owners in the Camping World East Series.

Heluva good 125 logo Both former drivers now turned owners (save for Olsen, I suppose, who is entered in Friday’s Heluva Good! 125 at New Hampshire Motors Speedway) said that they aren’t sure how much longer they’ll be in the series they’ve now called home for decades.

""I really want to keep it going, but with the economy being the way it is and the series not getting a lot of TV coverage, it’s a pretty tough sell right now," said Santerre.

Mainely motorsports logoSanterre has also told his employees that their jobs are not guaranteed beyond the season finale at Stafford Motor Speedway later this month.
