ON SITE: Mark Lucas wins PASS Modified race, championship

Mark Lucas did what he had to do.

Lucas won the PASS Modified feature on the undercard of the Ray Haskell Ford 150 at Wiscasset Raceway on Saturday, and in doing so, he beat out Andy Shaw for the season championship.

"I just had to be patient," said Lucas, who survived several caution periods. "I couldn’t have done it without the restarts."

Lucas and Shaw entered the feature tied after qualifying heats. Shaw finished second in the feature.
