Leighton won the Summer Sizzler 200 at Kawartha Speedway on Sunday afternoon for his second ACT victory of the season. Leighton also won the season-opening NH Governor's Cup 150 at Lee USA Speedway. Joey Polewarczyk Jr. finished second, while series points leader Scott Payea was third. Brad Leighton rallied late to become the first repeat winner on the ACT Late Model Tour this season.
Karl Allard was the highest-finishing Castrol Series regular in fourth.
The former multi-time NASCAR Camping World East Series champion Leighton has won two of his four ACT starts this season.
WISCASSET RACEWAY: Defending division champions Chris Thorne and Randy Turner picked up wins on Saturday night.
Thorne won his second 30-lap Late Model feature of the season, while Turner won his third 35-lap Super Late Model event after going winless during his championship campaign a year ago.
BEECH RIDGE: Former champion David Oliver won the 40-lap Pro Series feature on Saturday.
Frank Wear and Justin Cusack split victory lane honors in the two 35-lap Sport Series events.
THUNDER ROAD: Grant Folsom held off former champions Phil Scott and Jean-Paul Cyr to win his first career 50-lap Late Model feature on Thursday night in Barre, Vt.
NEMST: Emerson Cayer won the 50-lap North East Mini Stock Tour event at Wiscasset Raceway on Saturday night after Justin Trombley was disqualified in post-race technical inspection.
