WHAT THEY'RE SAYING
AUSTIN THERIAULT, Driver of the No. 57 Varney Insurance Ford, On racing at Autodrome Chaudiere: “It's a little similar to Thunder Road. It is a tight little bullring, a tough track. You have to get all that you can. The fact is, for those guys that only have one car like we do, it's going to be tough. We are going to try to play conservative and come out of there in one piece, but still try for the win.
“The points race the next day (at Circuit Riverside) is more important. But Chaudiere's a fun little track.”
On the team is approaching this double weekend with one non-points race and one points race: “I think the biggest thing is coming out of the Showdown with all four wheels on the car and be able to load it into the trailer.
“We aren't going to approach it differently in the way we run the race, but we do have to keep in mind there isn't much time between Saturday and Sunday. The weekend is about staying out of trouble and hopefully things go our way.”
The ACT Late Model Tour crosses Lake Champlain to race at Airborne Park Speedway to run the Fall Foliage ACT 200 on Saturday, October 8... In the 2010 Fall Foliage race, Theriault captured his first heat race win and first pole of his young ACT career.
