BARRE, Vt. - Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., survived a rough day to finish 16th in the ACT Late Model Tour Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200 at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vt., on Sunday, September 4. With quick work from his RPM Motorsports crew, Hoar was able to rejoin the field after being involved in an accident early in the event which caused heavy damage to the right front of the No. 37GossCars.com Dodge. The finish is Hoar's first finish outside of the Top-10 during the 2011 season, though Hoar remains in command of the series standings. RPM Motorsports will now look to return to their winning ways in next weekend's doubleheader in Quebec.

BRIAN, TALK ABOUT YOUR DAY.
“It's just another day at the race track. We just haven't one of these in a while, thankfully, because it's not that much fun. There were a couple of bozos. There was a lot of idiot-driving out there. The 18 Jamie Fisher and the 91 Patrick (Laperle) decided at the 70-lap mark that they needed to wreck each other for no reason. It was all about not lifting, and we just got caught up in their stupidity.
“Jamie should have lifted and Patrick didn't need to chop, so we have a torn-up race car. We just finished today.
“We had a good race car today before all of this. I'm sure we bent some stuff up in the front end; we took a pretty hard hit in the right front. But overall, we'll take it. We finished the race. The car's repairable. It could have always been worse. It was just one of those days.”
