WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., saw his two-race winning streak to open the ACT Late Model Tour season snapped when he finished 11th in the Spring Green 112 at Devil's Bowl Speedway in West Haven, Vt., on Sunday, May 6. It was a long afternoon for Hoar, winner of the the Spring Green in 2011, who was hurt by a poor draw for qualifying and ended up starting 21st in the 34-car field and could never get the track position he needed to get up and race with the leaders. RPM MOTORSPORTS: Brian Hoar Looks For 3rd Straight ACT Late Model Tour Win

GEORGIA, Vt. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., will try and win three straight ACT Late Model Tour events for the first time in his record-breaking career, joining the series for the Spring Green 112 at Devil's Bowl Speedway in West Haven, Vt., on Sunday, May 6. Hoar won the first two races of the season at Lee USA Speedway and Thunder Road International Speedbowl, respectively, to take a six-point lead in the ACT standings with eight points races remaining. Hoar won the Spring Green last year in the Tour's inaugural visit to Devil's Bowl Speedway, which was transformed from a dirt track during the winter of 2010-11.

RPM MOTORSPORTS: Brian Hoar Wins 2nd Straight ACT Late Model Tour Event

BARRE, Vt. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., held off a furious challenge from Wayne Helliwell Jr. for the second race in a row, leading the final 22 laps to win the Merchants Bank 150 at Thunder Road International Speedbowl on Sunday afternoon.

It was the first career Merchants Bank 150 win for the driver of the RPM Motorsports No. 37 GossCars.com Dodge, and it was his second straight win to open the 2012 ACT Late Model Tour season. Hoar now has an ACT-record 35 career victories and holds the early points lead as he searches for a ninth ACT championship.

“I've been chasing this one a long time,” said Hoar, who won the 2011 Milk Bowl at Thunder Road. “It's the first time for us (in the Merchants Bank 150), and it's a big deal. Anytime you can win at Thunder Road, it's awesome.”

RPM MOTORSPORTS: Brian Hoar Looks To Make It 2-For-2 To Start ACT Season

GEORGIA, Vt. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., will try and go 2-for-2 to open the ACT Late Model Tour season when the series competes in the Merchants Bank 150 at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vt., on Sunday, April 29. Hoar, who won his 34th career ACT race in the season opener at Lee USA Speedway two weeks ago, finished fifth in this event last season. Though Hoar has had mixed results at Thunder Road recently – winning the season-ending Milk Bowl last September, but posting his worst finish of 2011 in the Labor Day Classic 200 at the track – RPM Motorsports has dominated the last two Late Model events there. Local driver Nick Sweet won the Labor Day Classic for car owner Rick Paya in September, while Hoar capped his championship year with his second career Milk Bowl.

RPM MOTORSPORTS: Brian Hoar Wins 2nd Straight ACT NH Governor's Cup 150

LEE, N.H. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., held off a strong charge from a hometown driver over the final few laps on Sunday afternoon, and the eight-time series champion opened the ACT Late Model Tour season with a victory in the NH Governor's Cup 150 at Lee USA Speedway.

The win was the second in a row for RPM Motorsports in this very race.

“(Former track champion Wayne Helliwell) was right on my rear bumper. Wayne was all over me,” said Hoar, who earned his 34th career ACT win. “He's very, very good. We had very equal cars, but I got into a real defensive mode. He got into me a couple of times, but overall he ran me clean. He was just trying to get me to make a mistake.

“I don't think I've ever heard (car owner and crew chief Rick Paya) so excited on the radio – he kept screaming to 'protect, protect, protect.' And that's what I was trying to do. There's nobody who knows Lee USA Speedway better than Wayne Helliwell, that's for sure.”

RPM MOTORSPORTS: Brian Hoar Begins ACT Title Defense At Lee USA Speedway

OXFORD, Maine – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., posted his first career PASS North Series Top-5 finish by finishing fifth in the PASS Championship 150 at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine, on Saturday, October. 14. Hoar started on the outside pole after winning his heat race and led a total of 40 laps in the first half of the event, which was shortened to 118 laps by rain. RPM MOTORSPORTS: Brian Hoar Collects Third Career Milk Bowl Victory

BARRE, Vt. – Brian Hoar put the finishing touches on a record-setting 2011 season Sunday by winning the 49 annual People's United Bank Milk Bowl at Thunder Road International Speedbowl.

Hoar won his fifth career Milk Bowl pole in the event and won the first and third segments Sunday for his third career Milk Bowl championship. With the two segment wins, Hoar moved into sole possession of third-place for all-time segment wins.

“This is unbelievable,” Hoar said. “Man, that was awesome. I thought I lost it. It was wicked. I mean, unbelievable. It had been so many years since I won a race here, and I've always said the Milk Bowls that I won back in the '90s were just awesome.”

LOUDON, N.H. - Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., finished fifth in the ACT Late Model Tour's 3rd annual ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 24. After a brief, rain-shortened practice session in the morning, Hoar started 26th in the 43-car field. He drove his way to the Top-10 by the halfway point of the race and continued his march to the front, but a tight handling race car halted his march on a couple of late restarts. RPM MOTORSPORTS: Brian Hoar Looks For Season Sweep At New Hampshire

GEORGIA, Vt. – If the inaugural All-Star Challenge at New Hampshire Motor Speedway back in August was the ACT Late Model Tour's “Daytona 500,” then this weekend's event at the Magic Mile is Late Model racing's Bristol, Charlotte and Talladega all wrapped into one.

And Brian Hoar will gladly take center stage in the third annual ACT Invitational on the flat, one-mile oval in Loudon, N.H.

“It's one of the biggest races and the biggest track that we run,” Hoar said. “I like racing there. I really like the track.”

The ACT Invitational is a 50-lap event featuring the top teams from the ACT Late Model Tour, its Quebec counterpart the ACT Castrol Series, and weekly competition at ACT-sanctioned short tracks across New England, Ontario and Quebec. Following a brief practice session in the morning, the 43-car ACT Invitational field will take the green flag at 5:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

RPM MOTORSPORTS: Brian Hoar Sweeps Quebec Weekend, Secures ACT Title

STE-CROIX, QUE. - Brian Hoar of Williston, Vermont secured an unprecedented eighth ACT Late Model Tour championship by taking the win in the Can-Am 200 at Circuit Riverside in Ste-Croix, Que., on Sunday, September 11. The win came one night after a stellar performance and win in the Budweiser Showdown at Chaudiere 200 at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee-Jonction, Que.

Hoar led every lap of the All-Star race at Chaudiere en route to the win in the RPM Motorsports No. 37 GossCars.com Dodge. At Riverside, he finished second on the track and inherited the victory when the race winner failed post-race technical inspection.

“We were on fire Saturday night,” Hoar said. “We had a really, really good race car. It was one of those nights that most people don't even get once in a season and we had that. It was awesome.”

BARRE, Vt. - Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., survived a rough day to finish 16th in the ACT Late Model Tour Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200 at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vt., on Sunday, September 4. With quick work from his RPM Motorsports crew, Hoar was able to rejoin the field after being involved in an accident early in the event which caused heavy damage to the right front of the No. 37GossCars.com Dodge. The finish is Hoar's first finish outside of the Top-10 during the 2011 season, though Hoar remains in command of the series standings. RPM MOTORSPORTS: Brian Hoar Wins ACT All-Star Challenge At New Hampshire

LOUDON, N.H. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., captured his first career win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the ACT Late Model All-Star Challenge.

The victory was the 32nd of his career and came in the first-ever ACT Late Model Tour points race held at New England's largest speedway.

“This is unbelievable,” Hoar said. “I've been after this thing for 10 years or so with the (NASCAR K&N Pro Series East) cars and now these ACT cars. We've had an awesome car every time we've come here.”

Hoar won the second 50-lap segment of the day after starting 35th in the RPM Motorsports No. 37 GossCars.com Dodge and finished second in the first 25-lap segment for a three-point total in the Monza-style scored event.
