LOUDON, N.H. -- Eddie MacDonald won the pole for Friday's Camping World East Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
It was MacDonald's first career pole at the track where he swept a pair of East Series races in 2008.

For two drivers, it was a career day at Unity Raceway.
Randy Turner won his first career PASS North Series race, while Scott McDaniel won his first career PASS Modified event on the same afternoon. Shane Tatro was also victorious, and there were a couple of wild wrecks at the track.

The ACT Late Model Tour returned to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway for the first time since 1993.
ACT president Tom Curley said it felt like "a homecoming." David Oliver called himself "an idiot" after winning his third NASCAR Whelen All-American Series feature of the season. Brian Hoar snapped a 9-year winless drought in ACT competition.
